EcoMount is a fast-drying, optically clear, permanent mounting medium. This polymer-based mounting medium does not contain hazardous reagents such as xylene, toluene or benzene as its base solvent. EcoMount is designed especially for the permanent preservation of horseradish peroxidase, alkaline phosphatase and Qdot (quantum dot nanocrystals) immunofluorescent techniques. EcoMount permits longterm storage of slides with chromogens such as Warp Red, Vulcan Fast Red and Ferangi Blue. It can also be used with DAB and other non-soluble chromogens. EcoMount dries quickly and retains excellent refractivity. EcoMount is compatible for use on automatic coverslipping machines.

EUKITT UV mounting medium has all the well-known beneficial properties of the EUKITT mountants. EUKITT UV does not contain any solvents, therefore only 50% of the usual amount is needed compared to conventional systems. While using EUKITT UV almost no shrinkage can be detected.
The mounting medium may be used on tissue sections in non-polar solvents such as xylene or xylene substitutes as well as directly on sections in pure alcohols (EtOH, iPrOH, etc.).
The viscosity is very user-friendly. After being applied to the tissue, the cover glass can be placed as usual. Subsequently, a transfer break of at least 120 sec. is maintained prior to irradiation in order to ensure an ideal penetration into the tissue.
When using the specially tuned LED CCFL UV curing machine EUKITT UV cures in just 30 seconds.

Electron Microscopy Sciences EMS Glycerol Mounting Medium 100 ML
This aqueous mounting medium made with glycerol is for preserving fluorescence of tissue and cell smears. It is excellent for preserving thick sections that can not be mounted with mounting medium or fresh frozen tissues containing lipids, e.g. brain tissue.
This mounting medium is also useful for immunofluorescence. This unique formula prevents rapid photobleaching of FITC, Texas Red, AMCA, Cy dyes, Alexa fluoro 488, Alexa fluoro 594, Green fluorescent protein (GFP), tetramethyly rhodamine and Redox. The fluorescence is retained during prolonged storage at 4 degree C in the dark. This medium does not contain phenylenediamine, which destroys immunofluorescence of Cy dyes.
Not recommended for phycoethyrin (PE), phycocyanin (PC) and allophycocyanin (APC).
Reagent: Ready to use mounting medium for IHC and immunofluorescence (IF).
Refractive Index: 1.472. Storage at temperature of 2-8 degree C is recommended. Protect from light.

Citifluor mounting medium for immunofluorescence is designed to reduce the fading of the fluorescence of dyes used for labeling biological specimens. In the technique of fluorescence microscopy, the fluorescence is stimulated by high intensity UV and/or visible light. Absorption of the light populates an excited state of the dye (usually a singlet state) and this leads to fluorescence. However, the excited state of the dye may undergo chemical reaction, which leads to destruction as evidenced by the fading of the fluorescence and consequent loss of the image. Glycerol-based antifadent contains a phoenlic antifadent of neutral pH and a refractive index of ~1.52. Acts as a Clearing Solution.

CC/Mount is an aqueous mounting medium with very high refractive index. When applied to the stained tissue sections, specimens can be permanently mounted without chromogens fading. Due to the superior refractive index of CC/Mount, tissues mounted in this medium look like dehydrated specimens. No coverslipping is required with CC/Mount. However, if coverslipping is desired, dried CC/Mount can be post-mounted by using an organic based mounting medium. Advantages of CC/Mount are numerous: no coverslip, no exposure to the organic fumes, permanent storage of slides and high resolution of tissue specimens. Eukitt is a mounting medium (5% Acrylic Resin and 55% Xylenes) that is used in microscopy. It is an adhesive and specimen preservative that can be used manually and in automated coverslipping equipment. Special purpose adhesive and sealant for use with glass, non plastic and other non-reactive materials. It spreads quickly and evenly withoutforming any air bubbles. It is fast-drying (20 minutes) with a refractive index close to glass. Chemically neutral and has no reaction to staining.
